Live Nation is backing a roll-up of creator management firms
Creator Nation, led by Scott and Alexis Fisher, will acquire and scale creator-management businesses, with first acquisitions expected in the coming months.
Live Nation, which calls itself the world's leading live entertainment company, announced Creator Nation on October 1: a new company, backed by a capital commitment from Live Nation, that will acquire and scale creator-management firms and adjacent businesses. Co-founders Scott and Alexis Fisher lead it, and Live Nation said the first acquisitions are expected in the coming months.
Creator Nation says it will support creators across content, commerce, brand partnerships and live experiences. The pitch is about turning audience size into durable revenue: fans who buy products, follow creators into new content and brand deals, and show up in person. "Creators have proven they can build enormous audiences, but the infrastructure around them has not always kept pace," Scott Fisher said in the announcement.
The company is already hiring across creator strategy, commerce, touring, data, operations and marketing, and says it will work directly with brands and marketers on partnerships and campaigns for creators and its future portfolio companies.
The move fits a wider consolidation trend. Ad holding companies already own big influencer agencies (WPP has Goat, Publicis has Influential), and talent management is now attracting capital from the live-events side. For a company that sells tickets, creators with loyal audiences are a natural pipeline for tours and live shows.
Why it matters: if you're with a small management firm, there's a real chance it gets acquired by a larger platform in the next year or two. That can mean more brand relationships and touring resources, but also new priorities. Know what your management contract says about assignment if your firm changes hands.
